Caromee can be adapted to individual needs and easily be integrated in the current project context.

• The wizard for reading in a set of databases can be configured via XML files
• The definition of the bus systems can be configured. In other words, the internal buses can be adapted with regard to the bus system, bus name and number of buses used, etc. 
• Database-independent interpreter. The database-independent interpreter serves to collect the manufacturer-dependent specifications in a separate database and to use them uniformly, e.g. in order to display graphics for the terminal status or checkcontrol messages.
• The detailed view of Ethernet messages is configurable.
• Color design of the configuration interface.
