FlexRay/FlexRay Gateway
A FlexRay/FlexRay gateway enables an ECU in the test vehicle to be disconnected from the remaining network. This is necessary during the development phase if different K-matrices are used on both sides of the FlexRay/FlexRay gateway.
If the K-matrices are the same on either side, then an automatic, transparen. FlexRay/FlexRay gateway can be created. This can be configured in just a few steps in FlexConfig and then copied to the FlexXCon midget.
The feature that sets the FlexRay/FlexRay apart from others is its facility to synchronize the two FlexRay clusters.
